Our Story

Woven on heritage

Royal Silk & Sarees began with a belief — a saree should carry the weight of tradition, not just the weight of silk.

Brand Journey

An illustrated timeline

The beginning

A small curated selection

Royal Silk & Sarees started as a handful of hand-finished pieces, chosen one weave at a time by people who grew up around looms.

Building heritage

Six signature collections

Bridal, Banarasi, Kanjivaram, designer, party wear, and traditional silk — each line built around a distinct weaving tradition.

Today

A heritage house, not just a shop

Every saree that carries the Royal name is selected for its weave, its border work, and the story it will go on to be part of.

An illustrated impression of the hand-loom weaving process — the rhythm behind every Banarasi and Kanjivaram weave.

Our Values

What we weave into every piece

Craftsmanship

Every border and motif is chosen for the skill behind it, not just the look of it.

Authenticity

What we say about silk content and weave technique is exactly what you receive.

Heritage first

We choose pieces that honour traditional weaving techniques over fast-fashion shortcuts.

Lasting quality

A Royal saree is chosen to be passed down, not packed away after one season.

Quality Commitment

Inspected thread by thread

Before any saree leaves our store, it's checked against a standard that doesn't bend for speed or volume.

Saree Care Guide

Keeping your weave beautiful

Dry clean only

Pure silk sarees, especially Banarasi and Kanjivaram weaves, should always be dry cleaned to preserve the zari work.

Store away from sunlight

Direct sunlight fades silk colour over time — store in a cool, dark wardrobe space.

Fold, don't hang

Hanging a heavy silk saree for long periods can stretch the fabric — fold along the original pleats instead.

Re-fold periodically

Re-fold stored sarees every few months along slightly different lines to prevent permanent crease marks.

Come See For Yourself

Craftsmanship is easier felt than described.
